Taken With Canon 100-400mm Lens

I am looking for help to make my bird photos better. I am using a Canon R6, with a 100-400mm 1:4.5-5.6 IS II USM. I can’t get to get sharp photos- I am still learning and would really appreciate any suggestions.

I’d be glad to help you improve your bird photography with your Canon mirrorless R6 camera. Can you send a photo along to me so that I can evaluate it?

The two major causes of a lack of sharpness (mild or pronounced blur) in bird photography is movement and focus. Both of these have a few aspects you can explore, but I’ll know more when I see a sample of one or more of your photos with the R6 and 100-400mm lens.
