Anhui China, Sep 26, 2023 –From a 1X, 2X, to a 5X magnification ratio, Laowa keeps pushing the boundaries and crafts multiple cutting-edge lenses for the macro photography community. Today, Laowa takes a remarkable leap and brings us a purpose-built super micro lens for Full frame cameras.
– Aurogon FF 10-50x NA0.5 Supermicro APO lens set
Being the first out-of-the-box lens for such high magnification, the Aurogon shortens the learning curve and removes the cost barrier for both professionals and hobbyists. This APO lens set is designed with a unique concept that delivers high optical performance with a fixed long 20mm working distance for all magnification ratios. Photographers can simply replace different tube lenses to achieve 10X, 20X, 35X, or 50X magnification without changing the working distance and other setup. An adjustable NA from 0.5 to 0.15 provides exceptional brightness during focus and can be adjusted to minimize diffraction when paired with different cameras and lighting setups. With a budget-friendly price of 1,500 USD for the full set, it’s your ultimate companion for diving into the microscopic realm.
Beyond 5X with your full frame camera!
Laowa introduced a 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro a few years ago and that gives photographers an easy-to-use tool to create greater-than-life-size images up to 5X magnification. For years, many enthusiasts have longed for a lens that is camera-ready, has high image quality, and less expensive option for getting into an even more extreme micro world. The Aurogon is an excellent macro lens for photographers to capture magnified details with any full frame camera. Revealing the fascinating unseen micro world under 10X,20X,35X, and even 50X magnification ratios.
With a modular design, the lens has a universal objective lens and can easily switch between four magnifications with a different tube lens.

Fixed long working distance
Most of the objective lenses used in such microscopic photography would have a short working distance. The distance would also gradually get much shorter when using higher magnification. However, the Aurogon has a fixed 20mm long working distance across all magnification ratios. It would be much easier to obtain sufficient light and deploy lighting to an ideal angle. Gives you greater control over the lighting setup, making every shot a masterpiece. Besides, if you need to switch from one ratio to another, there would be a minimum change needed to the objective lens and lighting setup.Besides, if you need to switch from one ratio to another, there would be a minimum change needed to the objective lens and lighting setup.
APO design and adjustable numerical aperture
Users would be amazed by its excellent image quality and color rendition. An APO design offers exceptional chromatic aberration control and ensures superb image clarity.
The lens also has an adjustable NA that ranges from 0.15 to 0.5. Photographers can have the flexibility to focus with brighter NA and then set to the optimal NA best on the camera sensor and lighting setup. It also helps to slightly control the depth of field when shooting video.

Additional Lens Tube Slip Ring
For those who are looking for a made-ready setup to attach the lens for stable shooting, Laowa offers an add-on option of a Tube Lens Slip Ring set. It can be purchased separately on their website.
The set of tube clip rings comes with 2 rings. One for attaching the objective lens and one for the longer barrels of higher magnifications. You may also remove the inner ring of the front ring to use it on the tube lens. The position of the rings can be adjusted depending on different setups.
You may even use it to attach a rail platform at the front. Moving the subject instead of the whole system also helps to reduce vibration for a simpler setup.
Embark on a new era of microscopic photo exploration with Laowa Aurogon. Get ready to discover the unseen worlds and make the microscopic your playground, not just in the lab but anywhere with your camera.
